Superbowl 13 was between the Steelers and the Cowboys, Steelers QB was the infamous Terry Bradshaw while the Cowboys had Roger Staubach. Watched that game.

You Rock Kristi!! It doesn't seem that long ago. We recently had Joe Theisman come thru the airport I work at and I was the only one who recognized him, and asked for his autograph. I can still remember his leg going one way while the rest of him went the other!! OUCH!

I have certainly enjoyed this website. Thanks to those of you that have organized and worked on this. I was wondering does anyone know about Faith Nelson? We all played basketball our Senior year, me, Tammy, Toni, Laura and Faith. I have lost track since leaving Norfolk. Just wondering how she is doing, where she is?
Anyone?

The Norfolk Catholic High School is celebrating their 30 Year Reunion the same weekend. Should we invite them to TJ's? Try to coordinate some other activities?

The Value of a Drink

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink
I feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think
About the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes
And dreams .. If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out
Of work and their dreams would be shattered.
Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this wine and let their
Dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."
~ Jack Handy

And saving the best for last, as explained by Cliff Clavin, of Cheers.
One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm.
Here's how it went:

"Well ya see, Norm, it's like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may make you think you are whispering when you are not

FUNNY :)

I've finally recooperated from the reunion! Guess I've gotten use to 3.2 Utah beer! A huge thanks to all who made it happen, ya did a great job! It was so awesome to see everyone. The girls all looked so good, I felt like I was one of a bunch of old dudes partyin with high school girls. My worst fear was realized when I didn't recognize a couple of people that remembered me. I will be forever embaressed... please forgive me. Other than that the weekend was absolutly perfect !! I had a great time and I will do all I can to make it to any future reunions.
Maybe I can clear up a little confusion about what class I was actually in, cuz a few people asked. I was originally in the class of 78, but some crazy things happened in my sophomore year, so I dropped out and beleive it or not, went and became a migrant farm worker, picking fruit in the northwest... long story :-) I learned that mom was right and I really didn't know everything. So I came back home. I started school again in what would have been the 2nd semester of my junior year with zero credits and graduated in 2 1/2 yrs So thats how I ended up being a part of the class of 79. I'm truly honored to be a part of such a great group of people. 79 rules !!
